The Office of Kenneth S. Zimmerman, M.D. runs frequent reports to ensure quality care. These reports are used to reach out to our patients who have not yet received various services, tests, screenings, vaccinations, etc. Our office staff places reminder calls, sends reminder letters, and utilizes the Patient Portal to communicate with our patients.
Regular Appointment Scheduling
We require that all of our patients be seen annually for a physical examination.. We keep track of all our patient cancellations and contact our patients to reschedule in a timely fashion.
Patients age 40 and over are advised to have a mammogram.
Patients age 50 and over are advised to schedule a colonoscopy. Depending on personal circumstances, the timing and frequency of colonoscopy will be individualized.
Chronic Care Outreach
Patients who are being treated for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, coronary artery disease or congestive heart failure, are seen in our office at least twice a year in addition to the care they receive from subspecialists.
Patient Satisfaction/Survey Results
Every year, our office conducts a random survey of our patients. We collect information pertinent to patient satisfaction and suggestions patients may have for improvement so that we can better serve their needs.
We are pleased to share that 100% of our patients surveyed feel that our technical and communication skills are Excellent or Very Good. 100% of our patients surveyed also told us that our reception staff and health care professionals offered Excellent or Very Good care to them.
